Whatsapp shared between the mobile and tablet

I guess it's been quite an issue, but the options I found were installing whatsapp (running) on the tablet, but with a non-shared different account. Any chance of having the same account on both devices?

WhatsApp allows only one active account per device and linking your "number" with the device. When linking to unbind from the previous one.
