The Google Chrome Web browser has a feature that makes it automatically perform all domain name servers (DNS) when the page is first loaded. When you click on a link to the page, the browser has already made the DNS lookup needed to connect the domain name link your IP address, which makes the link load faster.
Click the button shaped wrench or three bars in the upper right corner of the Google Chrome window. A dropdown menu will appear.
Select "Options" from the drop down menu. This menu shows the options of Chrome in a new browser tab.
Click "Under the Hood" on the left side of the window.
Click to uncheck the "network actions to improve these page load performance" in the tab "Privacy" at the top of the page.
Close the Options tab to resume using Google Chrome.
