And if at any time you're updating an application using Windows Update resources and because of this correlation, Windows will reflect an error 0x8008008 with applications, in this post we will show a solution to this problem.
This is exactly the same error message we have 0 × 80070005 errors, 0x80240437, 0x80073cf9. This problem occurs when the file agent Windows Update "Wups2.dll" is registered incorrectly. Thus, this solution is a new log file. Before proceeding to the solution mentioned below, I suggest you to run the application from Windows Troubleshooter. You might get lucky and fix this problem. Failure to follow this:
1 Press the Windows + R, type notepad to open Notepad.
2 Copy and paste the following commands into Notepad:

3 Now save the Notepad file with the desired file name and give as extension (* .bat) example (register.bat).
Right click on the file and select Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or click Yes.
You will see the command prompt to process the commands. After successfully executing the command, you must restart and retry to update their pending applications, this should work fine now.
