Did you have your data on HTC backed up before? If not, I guess you may need a 3-rd party tool. As I known, some of reovery tools work well,like Jihosoft Android Data Recovery, wondershare etc...you can give it a try.

Have you backed up the data with HTC sync manager, I think it is better to backup some important data.

But if you lose them accidentally, you can still recover them with recovery programs.
