How to Install ClockworkMod Recovery on Samsung Galaxy Mini

The easiest method to install ClockworkMod Recovery is invalid for this phone and does not appear in the list in ROM Manager. But luckily we have the Samsung ODIN tool that helps us to flash this kind of stuff :) 

 

steps: 

 

Step 1: Download the following files: 

 

ODIN v4.38 

CWM-Froyo.tar if you have Froyo (Android 2.2.X) / tass-recovery-cwm.tar if you have GingerBread (Android 2.3.x)

 

Step 2: Turn off the phone 

 

Step 3: Enter download mode by combining VOLUME DOWN + Home + Power. 

 

Step 4: Connect your phone to PC via USB 

 

Step 5: Run ODIN v4.38 after you download and unzip 

 

Step 6: Wait for Odin to recognize your phone. To find out, left a yellow square appears COM will say "?" 

 

Step 7: Click the "OPS-button" to select Tass_v1.0.ops 

 

Step 8: Make sure the left of the window says "One package" 

 

Step 9: Click the "One package" button below and select the tar file downloaded in step 1 

 

Step 10: Click "Start" and wait for the phone to restart
