Very unpleasant moment ((realizing that this problem with the repository / update contacts I decided it almost by "spear" nudnovato process, because you have to do everything in one step (and sometimes more than once) in the very second floor until a new window pops up - SETUP / OPTIONS / Application Manager / (scroll up) ALL / click on the button to the left of center (home), and select Reset Settings APPLICATIONS and everything !!! the problem went away, leaving only then again all the necessary / unnecessary applications to customize ... but without any data loss PHONE !!! Good Luck!

go settings ->application manger -> all-> and clear data on contact and contact storage in app manager. This will fix the problem. But... Your data for contacts will be wiped away. So remember to BACKUP!

This is a very common problem in android devices and occurs mostly when data and contacts between your mobile with GMAIL, Facebook, etc are synchronized,

This error causes applications such as Dialer, Contacts, and other stop working.

The solution is simple, go to SETTINGS - APPLICATIONS - MANAGE APPLICATIONS

Then select all applications that store data can influence login as: GMAIL, FACEBOOK, GOOGLE PLAY

For each of the above press the CLEAR DATA button

With that I have at least solved.

Recommendation: Do not abuse the cloud, save your contacts to the SIM or Phone and use only sync with GMAIL INBOX

It is a pretty annoying error that occurs on the phone that enable the synchronization of contacts. It's annoying because as synchronization is continuous, check the error on the screen every 10-15 seconds and prevent you from making your regular activities with the phone.
Fortunately, the solution is very simple.
Just go to Settings> Applications and empty the cache and the data of your application for contacts (probably Contact Storage).
Alternatively, if you have a phone installed rootato with Titanium Backup, you can use the latter to clear the cache and application data system with contact.
Warning: this operation collapses the contacts from your phone, so make sure you make a backup of your Gmail account from which then restore them.

After trying all possible solutions that I found on the web, which served me was

1. download the new version of software smartphone
2. formatting and delete all the phone (keeping the photos and contacts in the cloud)
3. installing everything again.

I hope you serve.

Greetings !!

I tried everything and have been, delete, remove, reinstall, nomadic was effective, nor connected the google play, nor gmail or other app in the end the only solution that has served me was LUCKY PATCHER, ME rETURNED tO PUT tHE GOOGLE PLAY AUTOMATICALLY, the gmail, localization, all app functioned properly, is the best of the best
by
I spend this problem by restoring the backup via titanium backup after flashing the android 2.1 to 2.2, why? since titanium backup to reinstall tapeworms regitrarte to market through GMAIL automatically synchronized again, so before restoring the contacts you need to clear data as you say here in GMAIL. It seems that the problem extends, as are many who encounter a "Android.process.acore" when trying to synchronize your contacts with Google.

The problem comes in most cases by newlines do not expect the program, or strange characters within fields having a contact. In many cases in the field of Facebook for a contact, so it would be the first to review.

To investigate smoothly, we'll just turn off the "Data synchronization" automatically within the submenu "Google" in the section "Settings & gt; Data Synchronization".

This problem is recognized, and has its own "Bug" Bugs in the system of Android that obviously still open ... But in the thread of the bug, there is a fairly simple and convenient method. Low to comment 39 of that thread and see a simple method that will allow us to avoid problems with the characters and line breaks.

In summary:

1. Remove the automatic synchronization of contacts with Google in "Settings- & gt; & gt data-synchronization; Google- & gt; Auto Sync".
2. settle on phone "ExportContacts" program and create a .csv file with our contacts within our SD card. Take this file to your computer.
3. That .csv can be imported to our Gmail contacts without problem, go to Gmail in "contacts- & gt; Import". Ojo, since joining the contacts you have in Gmail, and maybe you want to delete some not interested in Gmail.
4. Delete all phone contacts. Without fear, now Google has.
5. Re-enable the synchronization of contacts on the phone.
6. If you get a warning message when syncing on that "Too deleted contacts", click "Undo delete" (to me he did not leave me this message)
7. Sync ... in a while have all contacts on your phone again.

The solution to the problem of "ANDROID.PROCESS.ACORE" is interrupted due to a BUG or problem that already Forums Google ie the origin is syncing Google accounts if possible entering the settings and disable that option will solve the problem if it is not so the only solution is a Hard Reset.
