IPhone 5 wifi coverage

Question

I have a question and is:

iphone 5 have less coverage wifi iPhone 4 I say this because I have 5 and I'm not sure but I think sites that iPhone 4 had coverage now do not have it, no I do is problem of my mobile in particular or is general problem and would like to know itself is send to repair my problem since I still have warranty.

I bought a case that is supposed to amplify the signal by 50% anyone knows anything about it

First do not use that case you're talking about so I can not say anything about it, but what you ask is not to have less coverage but the iphone 5, connects later, just when you need a wifi network ie while 4 vexes nothing but a wifi was connected, the 5, only connect when needed,  your question.

But I mean that in a place where before had a low (1 point) coverage iPhone 4 now with my iPhone 5 did not catch anything, if the problem of iPhone or always does well, it's what I want to know, thank you!)

Phew, it should not be that way, but I never did that test, I will try tomorrow to see if I can answer from my doing 5S and 4

I had same issue on my home as well as work wifi (both use apple routers)

I fixed this on Verizon iphone5 by:

- switch off bluetooth

- hard reboot the phone

 

Went from no bars (or 1 bar at best) to full 5 bars.
