You can edit the apn without root on the Verizon Note 3. Just put in the tmobile sim and go into the settings and edit the apn. I tried a StraightTalk /tmobile sim and got voice and data no issues. Sent from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 via Tapatalk Pro
