how do I correct unfortunately google has stopped error message for my lg4?

My texting , google, viber, kik, and other functions all come up with the "unfortunately has stopped working" error.  I use an LG4 android. My capability to call out and receive calls is normal. Browsing and you tube are normal as well. How do I correct the errors from continually popping up and allow my functions to work once again?

1. Go to Settings on your device.
2. Select  Applications > Application manager
3. Swipe left until you find the All tab.
4. Scroll down to the app that's causing problems and tap on it.
5. Here you will find the Clear data and Clear cache options.
