Hi there
The hard drive automatically puts me on / run / media / tobal / TOSHIBA EXT
I have access to riding when I read but not write. The owner is my user tobal arch and belongs to the group users
I tried changing permissions but nothing.
I have everything installed but no way na. I have noticed that / run / media / tobal belongs to root and does have read and write permissions.
I installed all the systemd dbus gvfs and nothing. The strange thing is that SpaceFM makes me well, but I did not give it good Thunar.
Thank you

That format has the usb. Possibly there is this problem. If you do not know what format is connect the USB terminal and run:

CODE: SELECT ALL
sudo blkid

and you come out and usb partitions and format them. And you put here that format has to see.

Hey, look:

CODE: SELECT ALL
/ dev / sdb1: LABEL = "TOSHIBA EXT" UUID = "F8FEC13BFEC0F2C4" TYPE = "ntfs" PARTUUID = "c8ddc6f9-01"

I installed ntfs-3g-fuse from yaourt and I did not ride well, tells me that the other parts are missing. So I have to do it by hand, amount to dismount and mount and umount, I get the permissions right but I have to do it manually each time.
I tried to install pmount from yaourt but this Fallen
This is what I do by hand as root

CODE: SELECT ALL
umount / media / TOSHIBA_EXT
mount-t ntfs / dev / sdb1 / media / TOSHIBA

Thank you

Weird, since I never had any problems and, as I automatically mount the USB / external drives to / run / media / myuser / usb.
Also installed the program to write to ntfs
CODE: SELECT ALL
sudo pacman-S ntfs-3g

I could not really tell if it is replaced, always use ntfs-3g is the one in the repositories of arch:
And with this, I have no problem writing ubs or external drives.

I left it as you have and the problem persists, no idea how to fix it or why it happens. I do not understand is why the base system installation does everything for these things is added by default, all or nearly all have an external USB NTFS or FAT32 format.
Thank you
