You must have installed ntfs-3g and ntfs-config package: create, rename, move or delete files of any size in NTFS partitions except compressed or encrypted NTFS files.
The coding system of the Windows partition (which is prinicipio ISO8859-15) and used by Linux (which uses UTF-8 by default) must be the same, so that the system can clearly see the names of files and directories in the Windows partition without encountering strange characters in them. To achieve this you have to put in / etc / fstab the option iocharset = utf8
To write permissions to a ntfs partition must install the packages: ntfs-config and ntfs-3g, and reboot. So that the line in the / etc / fstab file for an ntfs partition should be in this case type:
/ dev / xxxx / media / xxxx ntfs-3g rw, users 0 2
