I have a blackberry curve 9300, previously tarbajaba Claro provider but decided to terminate the number and release to use en movistar pre-payment, but when you insert the chip (that by the way is new) I could not make or receive calls, but at the top right of the screen I get the "3G" signal bars completely full signal, but when I call any number even at 104 I get the following message "no service currently available", I would like to help me and I want to use the en movistar, other data if I use the wifi signal

  • If you are not receiving calls, verify that call blocking and call forwarding are turned off.
  • Your device or your SIM card might support more than one phone number, even if you only have one phone number. Verify that your phone number is set as your active phone number.
  • If you have more than one phone number associated with your device, verify that the phone number that you want to make calls from and receive calls to is set as your active phone number.

As far as I know there are two possibilities to get this error message.One is poor signal of that respective network for which you just need to switch OFF and ON your mobile and the mobile will be able to receive the signal from near by tower.You may also get this error message when you are trying to insert a sim other than which the mobile is locked to.To solve this problem you need to unlock the phone from that particular network or use the same sim to which the mobile is locked to.To unlock you can purchase unlock code from UnBBlock.com
