If you protect your Apple ID with verification in two steps but want to disable it, you can follow these steps:
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com / s), select "Manage your Apple ID" and then connect.
Select "Password and Security" tab.
Click "Turn off two-step verification."
Select new security questions, check your birthday and provides email recovery email (optional, but recommended).
Click Save.
Note: Be sure to memorize the new security questions and answers. You will be requested at any time to verify your identity.
You will receive a confirmation email once you have cleared the two-step verification of your Apple ID.
