Hiding Apps in kitkat os

commented Mar 16, 2015 by George
Thank you eddy and oski for your help but this is only for the file itself (which can be hidden by the system as well) I am talking about the icon in the app drawer, is there any way to hide THAT?

I know that maybe not many will serve you this since you fail so to utilize directly or because you are not root.
A very effective and module

The advantage of this module is that it can act on any launcher including Goole Now Launcher. Installation is the same as always in these cases. It will download, install, activate and will restart.

Its use is very simple. We will list all the programs installed on our device, and simply select those who wish to hide. For the changes to take effect we restart the terminal. As you see it is very simple, and does the job perfectly. Then you have the download link: http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.depressiverobot.android.xposed.hideappsxposed

As hide pictures and videos on your Android
We show a simple tutorial to learn how to get certain content such as images and videos are hidden for others

Sometimes it is difficult to define the line between our private space and public space Android. True, it is owned by oneself, the terminal and its contents, but sometimes we are forced to lend under certain circumstances or ourselves want to show certain content. And it is in those circumstances where it may some pictures or videos that do not want anyone to see come to light. So we are going to show this simple tutorial to learn to hide contents of your Android not want anyone to see.

As hide pictures and videos on your Android
The first thing we will do is download the application you will use to hide the contents, called KEEPSAFE and is available in Google Play for free. The install granting permissions to the app itself asks.

Once we open the application, the first thing you will do is ask us to believe a PIN code. This is important because it is what allows us to lock or unlock the hidden contents.

Having chosen a PIN, the application will scan our device for all folders with images and video content. We will click on the button with icon images. All folders are displayed, and will open any pictures exist where we want to hide. We are shown the entire contents of the folder, and now we just have to click on each image you want to hide. Check that the chosen images are stained blue. Once you make your selection, click on the Hide button, whereupon us a progress bar and a confirmation message appears.

Now we see that in the initial screen of the application will have created a folder containing the images you have chosen to hide. These images no longer appear in the general galleries Android, but we'll have to see them enter the application by entering the PIN. In addition, we can create and manage folders of images and video.

Finally remark that the latest version of KEEPSAFE includes an option to perform the same action to hide SMS elements present in the main menu messages, although he is currently in beta mode, so could cause errors.

On home screen, tap and hold a blank space, as to add a widget or change wallpaper. When a menu opens, tap a three dot icon above the options. There will open many options. Scroll down and last option will be protected options.. Tap, register a security pattern, and choose the apps u wanna hide. To unhide, use same way and unlock the apps.
