As goes the theme bootloader of the ACER N311

Question

Hi, I 'm already a couple of days reading as a post 's Crazy ACER N311 watching their pro's and cons 's and after the update that came out I still have clear if it solves the problems that have been discussed in the forum :

 

 

problems:

- SE is fried and no one can restart ...

- Plays divx full screen very slow

- The horizontal tomtom is getting too slow

 

 

(the latter two issues not everyone shares them and my question is : could not leave a number ill pk is rare does not happen to all users after updating the boot? )

 

 

Finally I would like each user to have the N311 ACER or 300 and have upgraded the boot said, if he has solved something or not and if in case it can be exchanged for other PDA 's changed or still thinking it is and will remain good purchase.

 

 

Since this is not my post eh (pk take a mental pie with many PDA's and I tell you ... ) To think that there are many people walking behind this PDA by "quality" money and I think it's good way to end with this brand and leave on the floor .... or get something good and positive of it.

I'm in your same situation but for example from the divx full screen will depend on the quality they have and if qvga or vga so I have replied qvga look of pm but ask him to allfreedo being fattened to see House and South Park in it without any problem. 

 

Indeed it seems that is not fried but longer responds to Hard Reset. 

 

My question is on the SAT Acer is not whether they will be decent or not after reading everything, both good and bad, in the forums. 

It is true that as soon as there is a rapid problem is posted but if all goes well not unless you post dash reviews and want to defend them.

The theme of the SAT's's best and worst, but in all there is always some ALL user touches pringar and I repeat that there is always brown in ALL, just if you have to take the SAT crosses fingers xD.

I do not understand much but siginifica a hard reset you lose all the information as well as ready-made settings, and if so I think a gig huge balls to do that every time you hang up. To my point entirely serious note to buy another model.

Hello forum friends . This is my first post , so the first greetings to all .

 

I am also one of those " brave" or in my case "unconscious" has updated its acer n311 ROM .

My advice is that if you do well 0.98 , NOT actualize .

 

My experience with 0.98 was that I was left completely hanging one and only recover when you remove the battery and went back to poner.Pero insist that it was just a rest vez.El several SR , but I think that sometimes we fill our pdas with too many applications .

 

That and what I saw on the forum about it ( several enhancements included ) besides that is supposed to solve newer versions bugs and problems from previous versions , I decided to upgrade .

 

Error, I think now .

1 - There is no reverse gear ( wish I could put it back to my old rom)

2 - At the top did nothing but hang . I thought and had bundled .

3 - Retrieve previously intaladas applications to synchronize ( probe no previous backups) , but colgaba.Tuve several times to remove the battery.

4 - Do not " ran " but, as discussed around here, quite the contrary . Menus slowed , pulsabas an option and took to respond .

5 - In my case , most of the crashes occurred when using Wifi or Bluetooth.

 

, So what I did was the following:

1 - Delete all applications, to leave no trace in the ActiveSync

2 - Reload ROM (this time only restart once because I will only charge the flash).

3 - Install all applications from scratch

4 - I also had problems with Application Managers , and inclose , VBar , etc ... I've removed and looks better.

5 - I made a backup ;-)

 

With this I managed to remain stable , no hang me again . But scare me no one can take away .

 

These are the changes I've noticed with the new version of the ROM:

 

1 - a new indicator icon charging battery icon next to the audio (which had already seen pictures of reviews on the n300 series ) on the TODAY screen and replacing the clock appears.

 

2 - Now the clock appears in the date field on the main screen ( TODAY ) , unless we activate other applications, we will return the clock to appear in the top bar ( if you have set the clock display )

 

3 - I think the worst of the new version is that you have changed the Wifi drivers. Now a new option appears in the Windows Wireless Call TODAY to start or for the wifi , keeping the small icon in the other version . In my case I have noticed that I catch fewer networks than before ( loss of sensitivity). Choices configuration wifi have changed and when I turn off wifi using the little icon below , I have to be quick he is rapidly closing the options displayed when pressed .

 

I think that's all for now.

6 - Use less ROM . The ROM memory used by the system is now smaller .
