Install ios 7.1 on my Miniipad no longer works WhatsApp what can be done?

Unless you have to jailbreak before, I see no other way that you had Whatsapp, for there to iPad, and just iOS 7.1 removes JB, and therefore the apps installed without permits, so until the jailbreak comes out for 7.1, not have Whatsapp on your iPad mini friend.
