How to connect a Xiaomi to the TV using Chromecast
Chromecast was released by Google several years ago and we've even seen a second iteration of it alongside a 4K-capable version. Also, most modern TVs now come with Chromecast built in and allow users to cast directly to the TV from the Xiaomi.
Chromecast allows users to share an application, a photo, a YouTube video or even the mobile screen with the TV screen wirelessly as long as they are on the same Wi-Fi network.
The ease of use Chromecast has led to widespread and now most major applications, mobile devices and TVs come with built -in support adoption.
Don't have a smart TV? Even so, Chromecast will be very useful, however there are some things that you should take into account before buying it to connect your Xiaomi to your TV:
- Your TV must have an HDMI port . How do you know that? If you have a cable box connected to your television, then the computer has at least one HDMI port.
- You need to have a Wi-Fi network available at home. Yes, this is a must. In case you are using a wired connection, that is, the internet cable is connected directly to the back of your computer or CPU, you need to get a router and configure it.
- You need to download and install Google Home on your Xiaomi, which you can easily find in the Play Store.
- You need to have a power source near your TV so you can keep Chromecast connected to the power source. The device does not come with any internal batteries and therefore it will need an external power source to function.
