Wi-Fi password in Windows 10

  • Press the hotkeys “Windows + R” to open the Run command.
  • Type 'control' to access the Control Panel.
  • Click on the “Network and Sharing Center”.
  • Click on the wireless network to which the device is connected to see its status.
  • Click on Wireless Properties and access the Security tab.
  • There you will see the type of security and encryption and also the key simply by checking the box “Show characters”.

Wi-Fi password in Windows 11

  • Press the hotkeys “Windows + I” to access the Settings tool.
  • Select Network and Internet > Advanced Options.
  • Click on “More network adapter options”.
  • On the wireless network connection, click on the right mouse button > Status.
  • In the same way as in Windows 10, click on Wireless Properties and access the Security tab, where you will see the key by checking the “Show characters” box.
