CONNECT WITH MIRACAST

The 5 steps to follow are as follows :
  1. Enter the "Settings" of your phone, in the gear icon.
  2. From there, access the "Display" section. Inside, you should have an option that says “Send Screen” (“Cast” on older phones).
  3. Click on it, so that a new screen appears. Next, press the physical options button or the touch button (three vertical dots) on the screen.
  4. Select the option called "Enable wireless display" and wait a few seconds for the connector to detect it. If your TV is connected to the same WiFi network it should appear in the list.
  5. Select the TV from the list and that's it. It is already configured.
On many modern phones it is also possible to access the Cast Screen feature directly from the phone's top slide-out menu. Look for the corresponding icon. If everything is ok, the mobile screen will be displayed on the TV. No additional configuration is required .

CONNECT CHROMECAST TO TV

The connection method to replicate the screen is very simple :
  • Check that your Chromecast device (player or TV) and your smartphone/tablet/computer are properly turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Open the Google Home app. If you don't have it, you can download it from Google Play.
  • Select the device you want to connect your phone to.
Plus, media apps like YouTube include their own Cast button, making things even easier. If you only want to replicate a video and not the whole phone, just start playback and press the Cast button that you will find in the upper right corner.
