Apparently they are starting to report certain failures Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on the iPhone / iPod Touch. I must admit that with the iPhone EDGE previously had experienced such failures.
What basically happened is that while the marking device that was connected, it was not really able to acquire IP address or DNS or anything, so it was impossible to navigate or check email. It can also happen that the Bluetooth indicator appears blurred and we are unable to link the iPhone Bluetooth headset or hands-free car.
The steps I took to fix it was basically the same as Apple reports, but apparently the problem has taken on unacceptable proportions and Apple is beginning to accept the repair of some devices.
Before contacting Apple in its support pages indicate three steps that might solve the problem:
After sync your iPhone or iPod Touch with iTunes to make us a backup of the data contained therein, in the menu Settings> General> Reset see that there is an option called Reset Network Settings. If on pressing the device acquires Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is activated and we solved the problem.
If you still see that the device is not able to function properly, we will go back to Settings> General> Reset menu and this time accionaremos the Erase All Content and Settings option. Now in the Settings> General> About section we can see in the Wi-Fi address or Bluetooth if they are working, if so we can synchronize our data again.
If after all these steps you still can not get your iPhone / iPod Touch to connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, Apple advises restore the device software. This will erase all data (and Jailbreaks) so once completed you will have to synchronize the backup we had done previously.
It is likely that after any of these three steps, the problem is solved (like me happened to me with the EDGE, which only needed step one), but if the problem persists, Apple recommends you contact them because it is more than likely your iPhone or iPod Touch requires repair.
