Good morning, my left me the same message every 2 seconds, I noticed that only happens to me when I have the wifi on, and after tinkering much I've solved as follows: first of all turn off wifi, then go to settings> General> applications> all> find LG IMS> delete  Cache and data and then turn on again wifi does not return the message appears, it is important to turn off the wifi before performing steps otherwise does not let you delete the cache.

I have the same issue but it seems mostly to happen when i open the phone app, not wifi.  It also happens other times.  When I went into Application Manager though I couldn't find anything called Find LG IMS to delete Cache from...

to go General->the choose "Apps" and in there go "All" and find it there. Tho it did not help me :(

I had the same problem, which started yesterday. I'm specifically referring to the "LG IMS has stopped" message. I contacted Vodafone, but they directed me to a menu in the phone that didn't exist. I took a punt, and tried Settings, Backup And Reset, Network Settings Reset. Note: this is not a full reset, and you don't lose apps, etc. You will have to sign back into your wifi, as the phone "forgets" the wifi setting. Once you have signed back in, the problem is gone.

I second what Ursula Vasey-Graham above said: I kept getting this message plus really slow wifi connections.  I reset my Network Settings (which will clear all your wifi connections and passwords), and the IMS issue was solved and my wifi is back up to speed.

It worked following Ursula Vasey-Graham directins.

It worked for me and I'm so happy.  I was about to reset my cellphone.  Thank you for sharing!!!

original answer worked for me. My last step was force stop, not clear cache.

This didn't work for me either and  my LG4  menu doesn't show 'ALL' rather I had to click on "Show System" and then it shows up in Apps; then I clicked on Storage once I'd opened up LG IMS, and was able to clear the cache, but it didn't help me either.

This happened to me when I tried connecting to the Travelodge WiFi. Once I had disconnected by forgetting Travelodge Wifi setting all okay again. Works okay on 4 G and Home BT Wifi. Hope this might help someone :-)
