Error C1900208 When upgrading to Windows 10

Another common when attempting to update your system to Windows 10 error is the error C1900208.

    Installation status: Failed
    Error Details: Error Code C1900208

This error is caused by the virus on your computer (usually because they are performing a scan or have any active process that prevents the system update).

The solution is to disable the antivirus while doing the update (or uninstall it completely if after jumping disable it follows the same error).

Once disabled the antivirus, delete the contents of the folder C: \ Windows \ SoftwareDistribution \ Download.

Then run MS-DOS ( Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt (run as administrator Right)) and executes the command wuauclt.exe / UpdateNow.

win10

Try again to update your system to Windows 10. And remember to re-activate or install the antivirus.
