How to know if my phone is free. Not long ago, in Spain the operators have an obligation to provide mobile phones that customers acquire released, or if not, you can request to be released for free.

Anyway, there are many people who do not know if your mobile is released, something we should know if we change operator as not being a free phone, the SIM card from another operator will not function.

The easiest way to find out is by inserting a SIM card from a different operator he distributed the terminal. If you switch your phone recognizes the SIM card and have coverage obviously it is released. But this can not always check with this method, since we may not have access to a SIM card that is not ours. To find out without having to go changing cards, some phones can provide us with that information via a code that will introduce as if it were a number you want to call, although this varies depending on the manufacturer code.

Samsung

If you have a Samsung have to enter the following code: * # 7465625 #. After entering the code, a window will appear with different data. In this case, what interests us is the first choice. If the network option Block out the option OFF, it means that the terminal is released, if the contrary appears ON, it is that your device is awaiting release.

  Sony

In the case of Sony, the code is: * # * # 7378423 # * # *.

Several options will appear on the screen, but the one that interests us is Service info> Configuration. Once in this configuration section, in the last paragraph Bootloader unlock appears allowed: Yes, it means that your phone is released.

Huawei

For Huawei the code is: * # * # * # * # 2846579. a menu from which we select Project Menu> Network Settings> SIM Card lock state query appears. If Sim Card Lock State listed in that paragraph: NW_UNLOCKED means that your Huawei is free.

LG

In the LG terminal it is easier to know, because we will not need to enter codes, simply we head to Settings> About phone> Software information. Once there if software version ends in "-EUR-XX" it means that our mobile is free.
