To fix  google search has stopped  , what to do is the following:

  • Go to the menu and select Settings / Applications.
  • Select the "All" tab.
  • Select the  Google Search  / "Clear Data" and "Clear Cache" application. Then select "Download Manager" / "Clear Data" and "Clear Cache".

Hi all. I have a LG L5ii 460.
My question is this:
While attempting to write an SMS, WhatsApp or etc.  everything that has to do with the use of pop-up keyboard a message saying " Unfortunately Google Search has Stopped Working" and not display my keyboard for use.
A few more something happened?
Can you solve more or less simple way? Regards and thanks for everything.
commented Jan 10, 2016 by anonymous
From now resolved.
As said I check mate was installed and the default keyboard for LG home. Clear the keyboard options and selects all again as it was before. Returning to check whether the error still miracle, problem solved, I can re-use the keyboard! It is given
The answer I got at LG was:
Given the symptoms described on the error google search, we recommend the following tests to rule out that the failure is caused by an operating system error:
1) If your terminal takes SD card, use your mobile temporarily without SD card.
2) After dump their data, which will be eliminated, making a factory reset ("formatting") of your mobile in Settings> Backup & reset> Factory data reset. Problem resolved at the end of time. Thanks. Regards.

Try accessing the following path: Settings / Application Management / there looking for the Play Store app and once inside dale to delete data.

If it does not work well, try to download and reinstall another Play Store

If it works us know.

Greetings!

Finally!
I tried every suggestion on every forum & nothing corrected my error message. I knew many were on the right path by advising to turn off google search, but no one ever had the right instructions for my LG. To make matters worse, it seems the programmers don't WANT you to find & disable their app. Here's what I found on my own.

  1. Press Settings
  2. System Settings
  3. Scroll down to "Storage" & press
  4. Press "Apps"
  5. Scroll down to "google search"
  6. Press & hold it
  7. Click on "Disable"
When you do these steps, Google Search has stopped will fix.

First, you must navigate to the settings of your Android smartphone.
Scroll down until you see Application Manager or applications, the name differs Android device.
Swipe left until you find the "All" tab applications.
Scroll to the google search application that stopped and press it.
You will wipe data and cache.
What you must understand is that the compensation data clears changes to application settings, but not the actual content, such as images in the application gallery for example. Cache cleaning will get rid of stored data that allow applications to load much faster when you start them. Deleting this will only slow down the opening of an application a bit, but also help solve the problem.

system updates can provide improvements that may fix the problem with the device. To find and install updates the system does the following:
Opens the main Settings application on the device.
"System," touch About phone or About tablet> System updates> Check now.
If there is any system update is available, tap Install. You may need to restart the device to complete the update. If no updates available system, the message "The system is updated" on the screen.

Unfortunately GOOGLE SEARCH HAS STOPPED" I try to get to google play store but I will not allow it and trying to return to the factory settings ... . I do not see the keyboard to put my key .... What can I do??

This error took me several days head on my smartphone LG Android.

I do not know if it happens in other smartphone, but at least in mine that error occurred by chance combination of keys pressed by mistake or something. The fact is that since I came out, would not let me write anywhere, for example whatsapp, facebook messenger or the like.

As the error trying to write something jumping !.

I looked all network forums, I always out similar errors, but he did not, which is why I wrote in the post title as it appears to me, that helps.

Well, tired of searching and no alternative but to find me living by myself, I began to navigate the menus until I figured it must be a keyboard error and I agreed to that menu.

At least in my LG it is:

MENU / SETTINGS / LANGUAGE AND KEYBOARD

And it was there !, check: Google Voice Dictation marked.

It was clear it and the error disappeared.

I must also say that I have returned to access the menu and the option has again set alone ... but hey, the fact is that has been fixed.

For this to happen to them here is the solution.
