How to unlock bootloader , flash a Recovery and Root Guide

- Download the Toolkit to help us in all operations. here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1994961
- Recommend unzip to a directory C: Make sure the folder name does not contain spaces or Points
One - Run the program X + . Exe
- On your phone, turn on USB Debugging option
- In the toolkit , press 1 . Install HTC Drivers. This installs the drivers . Restart the pc .
- After reboot , open the Toolkit, and plug the phone or pc . Should recognize the PC.
2 - Click on "Register at HTCDev " . Place a correct email address , because you'll need it later . Leave the page open .
- In the Commands section , click Boot into Bootloader . Blank screen should appear with the text " FASTBOOT USB"
Click on - 3, " Get Token ID". A screen in which you must copy that opens Chorrón numbers , included the initial and final text <<<< Identifier Token Start >>>> (here the numbers Chorrón ) >>>> <<<<< Identifier Token End >
- Click on 4 Submit Token ID . The browser opens , and the bottom will have a blank space where Chorrón paste the above numbers. You give HTC you will send and get you ( instantly ) A ficherito to the email address you put above.
- With the phone in bootloader mode ( as we left ) , download the file that HTC has commanded you and save it in a safe place . Press 5 " Unlock Bootloader " and indicates where the file " unlock_code.bin " that is saved .

WARNING WARNING : THIS WILL ERASE ALL DATA FROM YOUR PHONE . WARRANTY AND CAN BE TOUCHED ( OR MISSING ) .

- If you agree with that, go up and down with the volume keys and accepts endender button . This will reset the phone.
- When you turn , you'll have to go through all the initial setup of the phone. Go to settings and enable USB debugging again . The PC will recognize the phone.
- In the Extras section of the Toolkit, click Root Perm . That copy SuperSu.zip on the phone .

Now for the Recovery :
The best by far for the Hox + is the TWRP . There are two versions , ATT / Telus and International. And both are included in the kit.
If you purchased the terminal to ATT or Telus , use the ATT / Telus
If you have not purchased the terminal ATT / Telus uses the International

- Select the appropriate choice and click " Flash Recovery"
- After installed , disconnect the USB cable and having the bootloader HBOOT selected , hit the power button to select it . That will take you to another window where you can select ( with telcas of volume) Recovery and press power to select.
- Go to Backup and click Backup your current original Rom (boot and system) . Very important to do this before flashing any Rom . And then from the pc , copy that backup to your pc . You'll never know when you need it ! With no SD card, it is much easier to accidentally erase all internal phone storage, and backup ROMS ROM included ..
- Go to Install and locate the file that you copied before SuperSu.zip the toolkit. Select it and slide the button below to flash it . Once done, the phone restarts.
- Go to SuperSU application. If it says " binary" should be updated , do it. If not , you're rooteado !

How to Install a Custom Rom and its corresponding Kernel ( boot.img )

Let the mess ..

Looking for a Rom you like. Make sure it is compatible with your terminal :
- If you have a Hox + international terminal , flash Rom Hox + international one
- If you have a Hox + ATT Telus or terminal , flash Roms Hox + Att / Telus
Evident. And dangerous not to do so.

- Connect the USB cable. Go to the phone folders . Create a folder called ROMS (not under compulsion, but to make it ordenadito ) and copy into the Rom you want to install .
The toolkit - click Boot into Recovery ( you can also do it with the terminal off, pressing the volume - keys and power for a few seconds , and then going to the recovery menu). If you have not done before, MAKE A BACKUP .
- Read the whole sentence before doing anything -> now proceed to Wipear . Tap Wipe and Wipe Cache, Dalvik , Factory Reset, and System. NOTHING . If you do something more you wipe , erase storage, including the ROM you want to install ! , And have occasional headache to solve the issue ( Post 4 )
- Click Install , go to the ROMS folder you created , and selects the one you want to flash . After flashearla , press the back button . Click Reboot and Reboot into Bootloader . Open the Rom you downloaded on the pc , you should see a boot.img file. Leave it somewhere on the pc, and the Toolkit click " Flash a Kernel. Boot.img You select the file you were out there, and will be flashed .
Click Reboot - from of the phone . To boot the phone normally.

Congratulations !

As you have seen, and because most terminals have are S -On , you must flasehar rom for the side , and on the other the Kernel.
Keep in mind that the kernels are not always compatible between Roms . You have to read well the characteristics of the roms installed. Many carry their own kernel , or author will tell if some other kernel that supports Rom

In this case, these are the steps to get back to our terminal ROM:

- Connect the USB cable
TWRP pressed - in " advanced " and then " sideload ADB "
Get - ROM , either the Original copy you made , or another. Rename it with a single word, such CM10.zip QX.zip ARHD.zip ...
- In the toolkit , in the Extras section , click a Sideload ADB Rom . Click " yes" when asked if you are in recovery . Select the ROM you want to install . The toolkit will transfer and MT will flash .
- Once finished, I pressed back . Click Reboot, and bootloader .
- Extract the zip file boot.img Rom
Flashing the boot.img - kernel from the toolkit
Already have back - Rom on the phone !
