What is missing from the VR technology to finish off in Android?

Last Thursday our colleague  talks about two alternative low cost virtual reality for Android, a type of increasingly popular device but it seems that fails to settle. So today we wanted to leverage our question every Monday to hear your opinion, and what think you need this technology to finish off.

As some major game developer is taken seriously, or some great developer of apps, all peel off.

I use it as my knowledge is pretty developed to achieve great things.

The day you leave minecraft VR or VR Real racing, or VR, a simple virtual environment skype to communicate socially, etc etc ... people will start to know and like everything, all brands and all manufacturers begin copied to each other as genuine desperate

Now I say that has not taken off. I was at an exhibition in 1993 with all kinds of hardware and virtual reality software. At that time there was a peak of interest as now. True, at that time where what were sent desktops with 486 processors was not with much power. But there were some very interesting things, not only for entertainment, but to use application environments. But that fell asleep and has come out again. Maybe now if to accompany technological power, however it does not seem that the developers are very keen.

The most important are the applications, now there are very few demos and quality games for Android. To encourage the creation of more applications need some HMD optical quality and good price to sell massively. It is a fish that bites its tail, one need each other to finish off.

 

From time to get by have the Google Cardboard and some Chinese options like LJ-01 NEJE and LJ-02 but it seems that the issue go off based on Chinese cases, the build quality is very poor and are not well known ...

 

There are also the Samsung Gear VR but have very few devices support very high prices, so for now does not seem to be causing the massive departure of the VR.

 

Anyway, it seems that slowly come out some amazing demos as Cmoar Roller Coaster VR and useful applications as virtual cinemas are giving him a push. On the other hand, some interesting projects like Cmoar have just finance and there are some interesting HMDs as VREye GO about to go on sale (vrAse no signs of life).
