Google has been with Motorola patents (more than 10,000), and the brand 'Motorola' itself and cared little or nothing. And it has taken everything he could, considering that three years ago over 10 billion dollars was spent to purchase.

Jealousy and anger of its Android partners do not like the idea of it almost as a competitor Nexus being more of them ... not saying this is bad but tastes better to give them to the writing competition or make their own OS p

Under pressure from manufacturers, especially Samsung.
I do not think there's been traumatic for Google as they have been with patents, the innovation department and cast off a company that needed a lot of effort to be profitable in a field that are not particularly interested for now.

I see the reverse of how much thought (which samsung pressed), rather I think google motorola pressed, making the bike g demonstrating that it could sell for samsung not outside the "android way". Having demonstrated that samsung will enhance tools android and not yours, because google can stop "threatening" with motorola.

From my point of view, I think Google had thought about the future, he had no knowledge that launch Motorola or not fully and deserved a better manufacturer best state and market knowledge to take care of it grow again as in previous years .

ALLIANCES is true that while the pulled motorola smartphones that while google was in command were excellent but there were two big factors the users that went out winning and the companies which had more competition at those prices it was though fully implemented because I think the manufacturers are going to continue that pattern was a risk to google because it has to be "OK" with all its allied companies and thus could recover some of their investment and come out ahead

Google does not need a construction company of Mobile, as its Nexus only needs to be associated with a company to bring to market the only model with mobile and tablet two. However, for Lenovo, in my opinion, is a great buy. It's a way to get their handsets outside of China, so far the only way to buy a mobile Lenovo is still import from China, and I suppose will want to open its market

Because I'm worth it!

Google is today where Microsoft was a few years ago. Made and unmade at will. Innovated, created trend, if not give them head companies bought or copied directly nullify competition giving away free what others charged ... In buying businesses, it would be the first and last that caught and kept it in the closet and never heard.

For Google, I suppose, does the same, you see something interesting in Motorola, know-how, patents, whatever, buy it and then sell it.

Lenovo looks the same at Motorola, a company that was a leader and benchmark (there were many years was synonymous with Motorola mobile phones) have something to offer. Therefore, these are comings and goings of interest, you probably will not be able to imagine, or perhaps as simple as the premise of the whole company, which is, "make money."

I would say there are 2 response. The first is that Google could see coming a dangerous monopoly and harm Android. It is clear that Google's intentions to Motorola were legitimate and beneficial for users, but ended up being a Russian Roulette for Android ...
The second is that had taken what he needed and that Motorola and its patents were R & D department. And get rid of Motorola now was the time stated and Lenovo fell like a glove.

Here the two wins. Lenovo takes a brand, a market and a golden door into this side of the world. Google really lost. Rather get a defense that protects Android, which is what really far matters to Google.
Only Motorola loses. Because in about 2 years will be merged and absorbed by Lenovo and pass into oblivion.
