how to fix dwm.exe has stopped working

The only way to stop this process is stopping Windows from booting. Follow these steps:

1. On the Start menu, type "Services" we "Enter" and open the program

2. We place "Desktop Window Manager Session Manager" and we right click

3. Press "Stop"

4. Then again we right click on this service and click on "Properties"

 

5. In the "General" tab, select the start of the service as "Disabled"

 

6. Press "Apply" and "Ok"

The results are displayed instantly. And if we are not convinced, we can always return, following the same steps; but selecting the startup type as "Automatic".

Click the Start button , then Control Panel.
In the search box, type Troubleshooter, click Troubleshooting, and then click Appearance and Personalization.
Click on Display Aero desktop effects. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
