Hello everyone,
To all who have problems with the profile, look completely uninstall software that may cause discrepancies with Google Chrome. In addition, you should try incognito to see if it works well or create a new browser user profile.
For Windows:
- Google Chrome completely salt.
- Use the key combination Windows key + E to open Windows Explorer.
- In the Windows Explorer window that appears, enter the following into the address bar:
- Windows XP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\
- Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\
- Find a folder called "Default" in the directory window that appears and rename it as "Backup Default."
- Try opening Google Chrome again. Once you start using the browser, a new folder "Default" will be created automatically.
If you want, you can transfer information from your old user profile again. However, we recommend that you do not do it , because part of your old profile may be corrupted. If you still want to transfer your old bookmarks, copy the "Bookmarks.bak" file from the "Backup default" folder in the new folder "Default". Once you've moved, replaces the file name "Bookmarks.bak" to "Bookmarks" to complete the migration process. All other browser data will remain in the "Backup default" folder, but you can not transfer it to your new profile.
